Nice, I wonder if it goes full "rock & roll"?

Don't know yet.
Regardless, who could adequately control a 7.62x51 NATO (308 Winchester) in full auto? Remind me to show you a 7.62x54 round next time I see you - closest thing I have.

The Bev: Not all of us are trained to do so, or could get the training without joining law enforcement or the military.
... but sounds like a TON of fun.

Training? I'm 20 years old, the only "training" ive had is what ive given my self. My dad is not law enforcement or military we just dont have criminal records and are allowed that nice class 3 weapons permit. I wasnt trying to be a dick just saying that the 308 isnt that much of a popper to shoot on full auto........... snatch yourself up on a modified AR in .458 socom on full auto. thats some punishment friend, and expensive as hell.

And I wasn't meaning to sound snappy on the response either. :)
It's a pain to aquire a class 3 license. I refuse to sign a notice giving the atf free reign to stop by whenever they like. (as if they wouldn't break in whenever they felt like it anyway.)

Alan: we know it is semi. The speculation was IF it could go full-auto.

Gentlemen, what you see here is a 21st century battle rifle, a semi-automatic, true ambidextrous, forward ejection bull-pup rifle that fires a full power rifle round. The .30 caliber round is vastly superior to the current .22 caliber round fired by the M16 family of rifles. The .30 caliber is capable of turning cover into concealment, in other words, it will send a projectile through a concrete block wall and into a bad guy, where a projectile fired by a M-4 will just peck away at the concrete giving the bad guy more time to be bad with. This is a weapon for the modern urban battlefield.
Oh yeah, and it would be cooler than polar bear balls to have one to shoot watermelons and milk jugs on the back forty too.

Matt: You said yourself above "Training? I'm 20 years old, the only "training" ive had is what ive given my self." How would you know what a 5.56mm 62gr hollow tip boattail does in combat if you've never been? Just curious. Miles of difference between shooting "watermelons and milk jugs on the back forty" and perferating human flesh at less than 50 feet. I spent 18 months in Iraq; Specifically in: Muqdadiah, Abusadah, Baqubah, Baritz, and Imam Waiz. I also helped secure the Diala Media Center. I also have a T shirt that says been there done that. Just curious how you can rate performance of a round you've never used in combat.
